Cost: $30.00 per player per quarter (roughly aligned with school terms and usually about 10-12 weeks). This must be paid on or before the 4th Tuesday of the quarter (or on your second game of the quarter, whichever is later) otherwise the casual rate applies.
If you would rather pay each week then the casual rate is $5 per player per night to be paid on the night. As you can see, the $30 per quarter option gives you a significant discount!
We encourage you to pay your fees by internet banking. Our account number is 01-0307-0041616-00 (Kapiti Volleyball Club). Please use your full name and player code as the reference. If you prefer, you can also pay with cash on the night.
* Casual play is for college aged students and adults. We are not able to provide adequate supervision for younger children.
Kapiti Volleyball Club (KVC) was established in 2007 to bring the sport of volleyball to the Kapiti Coast. Although the local colleges have volleyball teams, prior to KVC there was no organised volleyball in Kapiti for adults and other students. The club founders have all played volleyball at various levels in other regions, and have brought that experience to Kapiti to encourage the sport to grow here.
The club’s focus is on having fun. Participation at all levels and in all facets of the game is encouraged. Skills both on and off the court (including refereeing) can be developed in a relaxed atmosphere.
All money raised by the club through registrations and playing fees is used for purchasing equipment, gym hire, administration costs, etc. Kapiti Volleyball Club is a non-profit organisation and none of its officials are paid.
